I am an interdisciplinary ethics researcher who examines the ways that health policies and health professionals create, perpetuate, and oppose opportunities to harm disadvantaged groups.

My work focuses on a variety of health polices which have social and ethical implications, such as prenatal testing for disability, cannabis consumption in pregnancy or medical assistance in dying.

I conduct this research in the context of academic primary care, through the Department of Family Medicine at McMaster University. I mainly use qualitative research approaches, using both primary and secondary data.
